"I'm so proud to represent the same community I grew up in - where I live,
where our kids go to school, where our family is building a future together."
Meet Daniel Wilkins - Your EAST WARD councillor

ABOUT ME
Mandurah has been a part of my life for over 35 years. My family holidayed here
when I was a kid, and we made it our home when I was 11, settling in Halls Head
after my dad opened an exhaust shop.
My roots in the community run deep—from going to school locally and landing my
first job as a press photographer right here, to now raising my own family in
Dudley Park.
I’m incredibly proud to represent the community I live in — a place where my
children go to school, just like I did. It’s a special feeling to give back to a city that
has shaped so much of who I am, and to help make it an even better place for the
next generation. I’m passionate about helping create the same opportunities
for my children that I had growing up in this amazing city.
As a proud local City Councillor, I’m committed to building a safer, more connected and thriving Mandurah.
I’ve worked closely with the community to advocate for theextension of the sound walls as part of the Mandurah Estuary Bridge duplication, ensuring residents’ voices were heard and their amenity protected.
I’ve also championed the redevelopment of the Coodanup Foreshore, making sure this important community space is is funded and delivered. I’ve strongly supported major investment into local netball courts and continue to push for better community sport and recreation facilities across our city.
I’m passionate about supporting the arts, protecting our precious waterways and wetlands, and improving amenities in our local parks and reserves. From crime prevention and community safety to local jobs and economic development, I’m focused on delivering real outcomes that make a difference to the lives of people in our community. I’m committed to being an active, approachable and transparent representative for our community.
I’m proud to call Mandurah home—and while I know we face challenges, I believe that by working together we can build a stronger, safer, and more inclusive city we’re all proud of.
